St Julian's Centre
We meet in St Julian’s centre, which is in Shrewsbury town centre, where Wyle Cop meets High Street. Look out for the tower of the church building, and go round the back (via Fish Street and St Alkmund’s Square) for disabled access. You can use the controls on the map below to zoom in and out and pan around. Our postcode (for Sat-Nav, etc.) is SY1 1UH. Parking in Shrewsbury is a real problem and the best thing is to arrive as early as possible. There are occasionally spaces on Wyle Cop as you come into town from the English Bridge. You may be more likely to find spaces along Castle Street if you come into town from the north, past the Railway Station. There are some loading bays where parking is permitted on Sundays. The easiest thing is to go over the English Bridge and to follow signs for St Julian’s Friars Car Park, turning left at the bottom of Wyle Cop. Parking is currently £2.70 for three hours and £4.00 for the whole day – though it may go up anytime! - but there are almost always spaces.
